Obituary of Annamarie Fiorilla

Annamarie Fiorilla (nee Scilleri) 97, a lifelong resident of Paterson, New Jersey, passed peacefully from this life on February 17, 2016. Born in Auburn, New York on August 21, 1918, she moved with her family to Paterson where she lived for the remainder of her life. She worked for thirty years for the Brown Bindery in Paterson. Annamarie was an extraordinary cook who took the greatest pleasure in preparing traditional Sicilian meals and memorable family dinners. Her life centered on family and her happiest times were spent with the family especially summers together at the Beach Haven house on Long Beach Island. She enjoyed many hobbies, including sewing, crocheting, baking and walking. She loved life and had a wonderful personality and sense of humor. Annamarie was predeceased by Peter, her loving husband of 50 years. She was a devoted Mother to Ronald P. Fiorilla of Woodland Park NJ and his wife Susan, and adoring Grandmother to Renee and Nicole Fiorilla. Cremation Services are private. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
