Obituary of George Eljouzi

George K. Eljouzi, 84, of Wayne, passed away on February 19, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born in Cairo, Egypt on October 1, 1931 to the late Khamis and Nayfe (Zakharia) Eljouzi. Before retiring, George worked as an accountant for many years in many different countries. He was the beloved husband of Nelly Saad, the treasured father of Mona Eljouzi and her husband Gus Ghazal and Bill Eljouzi and his wife Ursula, and the cherished grandfather of Nelly, Lara and Hala Ghazal and Sarah and Dana Eljouzi. George is survived by 3 brothers, 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brother Hana Eljouzi. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, February 22, at 9:30am at St. James of the Marches Church, 410 Totowa Rd., Totowa, NJ 07512. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Rd., Totowa, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: St. Jude Children's Hospital www.stjude.org
