Obituary of Doris Gibbons

Doris Gibbons (nee Bensi), 87, a lifetime resident of Paterson, passed away on February 28, 2016. Doris was born on January 20, 1929 to the late Joseph and Linda (Robattino) Bensi. Doris was the adored mother of Barbara Jean Gibbons, the dear sister of Louis Bensi and his wife Dorothy; the cherished aunt to Linda Bensi, Diane Heese and her husband Peter, and the late Louis Michael Bensi. She is also survived by many dear cousins. Doris worked as a secretary most recently at EDI-ECI in Paterson and previously at Krugman- Chapman in Saddle Brook. Doris was a member of St. Gerard and St. Mary Help of Christian Church in Paterson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Thursday at 9:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:30am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
