Obituary of Jennie Halat

Jennie Halat, 81, of Woodland Park, passed away on June 6, 2013. Jennie was born in Clifton, NJ and worked for many years as a machine inspector at United Tool in Woodland Park and Wayne. She was also a parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. Jennie was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Halat and the treasured mother of Dolores Halat and Santa DeCesare and her husband Vincent. She was the cherished grandmother of Mark DeCesare and John DeCesare and his wife Megan. She was predeceased by her 4 sisters and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:00am. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
