Obituary of Leon Pasquale Pantano

Leon P. Pantano, 76, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Paterson, passed away on April 16, 2016. Leon was born in Paterson, NJ on March 27, 1940 to the late Anthony and Natalie (Ricci) Pantano. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958-1961. Most recently, Leon worked as a teacher at the Rugby School in Wall, NJ. Leon is survived by his four daughters; Jeanne Pantano, Sharon Marie Pantano, Linda Lee Bligh, Natalie Pantano; his four grandchildren Joseph and Michael Hansen and Jacob and Madison Bligh; and by his sister Jamey DeMauro and her children. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at Santangelo Funeral Home at 8:30am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
