Obituary of Anna Villaraut Gambino

Anna V. Gambino (nee Villaraut), age 83, of Woodland Park, passed away on May 20, 2016. She was born in Sicily, Italy on September 27, 1932 to the late Paul and Laura (Governale) Villaraut. Anna was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. She was the beloved wife of the late Calogero “Charlie” Gambino (2008); the cherished mother of Anna Maria Cusumano and her husband Leonardo, Sr. and Paula Gambino; the loving grandmother to Leonardo, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Steven Cusumano, and Michael Cusumano and the great grandmother of Rocco Cusumano. She was the dear sister to Rose Battaglia and her husband Peter, Maria Sabatino and her husband Salvatore, and the late Pina Cutrone and her husband Pino and the late Dominic Villaraut and his wife Benuccia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, from 3-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. Guests may arrive at Santangelo Funeral Home at 9am. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
