Obituary of Kathleen "Kathy" Hascup

Kathy Hascup (nee Romeo), 65, of Paterson, passed away on June 1, 2016. Kathy was born in Paterson on December 26, 1950. Before retiring, Kathy worked nearly 40 years in accounts payable at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. Kathy was the beloved wife of Glenn Hascup; the cherished daughter of Lucy (Campanello) Romeo; adored mother of Eric Hascup and his wife Selime and Bryan Hascup and his fiancé Jessica; and the dear sister of Dorothy Laterra and her husband Sal. Kathy predeceased by her father, Edward Romeo and her brothers Edward and Nicholas Romeo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and very close friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompei, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:30am.
