Obituary of Angelo Villani

Angelo Villani, 86, of Woodland Park, passed away on June 7, 2016. He was born in Paterson on June 10, 1929, the eldest of 10 children. Angelo worked for many years as a master plumber as a member of the pipefitters union local #274. He was a former member of the Totowa Elks and the Italian Heritage Club in Paterson. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire (Cropanese); the cherished father of Angelo Villani, Jr. and his wife Tammy and Sandra Morelli; and the adored grandfather of William and Michael Perlak and Joe and Michael Morelli. Angelo is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angelo’s 12 year old niece, Heather Villani, who is battling Neurofibromatosis. Donation envelopes are available at Santangelo Funeral Home or may be mailed to the funeral home if you are unable to attend the services.
