Obituary of Anthony DiPietro

Anthony "Pete" DiPietro, age 81, of Totowa, passed away on June 15, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Anthony was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Paris and Angelina DiPietro. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Marines Corps during the Korean War. He later worked for many years as a punch press operator retiring from Continental Can in Paterson. He was a parishioner at St. James of the Marches RC Church in Totowa and was a member of the American Legion Post #1000 in Trenton. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Meyer) for nearly 60 years. Pete was the treasured father of Susan DiPietro Fusco and her husband Bruce, Anthony DiPietro, Jr., and the late Peter DiPietro and the adored grandfather of Brian and Scott Fusco and Anthony Paris, Marie and Regina DiPietro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 9:30am at St. James of the Marches RC Church, 410 Totowa Rd., Totowa, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:30am.
