Obituary of Jose Juan Pagan Gonzalez

Jose Juan Pagan Gonzalez, 75, of Paterson, passed away on August 12, 2016. He was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico on October 24, 1940; the youngest of 22 children parented by Carlos Pagan and Victoria Gonzalez. Jose retired after twenty years of working as a textile manufacturer and later became a crossing guard for the city of Paterson. He was the beloved husband of Genoveva Figueroa Pagan; the cherished father of Francisco Heredia and his wife Janette, Maria Torres and her husband Israel, Carlos Perez, Jose J. Pagan, Jr. and his wife Celinez; and the adored grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers George and Martin, his sister Juanita; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
