Obituary of Christine M Lynch

Christine M. Lynch (nee Esahak), 83, of Little Falls, passed away on August 18, 2016. Christine was born in Paterson, NJ on March 4, 1933 to the late Charles and Sarah (Mitchell) Esahak. Christine loved her family, music and her faith. Her extensive knowledge of liturgical music cultivated over 68 years of directing the choir at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church was a labor of love. She was an active and involved member at St. George in addition to her dedication and passion for its choir. "Her life was a song, God wrote the words". Christine was predeceased by her husband Robert P. Lynch, her son Robert Lynch, her granddaughter Janna Lynch, and her sister Elaine Karram. She was the cherished grandmother of Ryan Lynch, the adored sister of Pearl Nahass and her husband Robert and the beloved aunt of 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-9pm at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10am. Guests may arrive for visitation at 9am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. Memorial donations may be sent to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
