Obituary of Samantha Latoya Brooks

Samantha L. Brooks, 33, of Paterson, passed away in Florida on September 1, 2016. Samantha was born in Paterson, NJ on March 27, 1983, the adored daughter of Samuel L. and Marva R. Brooks, née Christie. She is survived by her brother, Michael A. Brooks; her dear sister, Natasha Coombs; beloved nieces, Taleen Smythe and Skye Martin; her grandfather, Clarence Christie, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2016 from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ, 07524. A funeral service will be offered on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 9 AM at the Church of God of Prophecy, 25 Rosa Parks Boulevard, Paterson, NJ, 07524. Guests may arrive at the church at 8:30am. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa, NJ, 07512. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tomorrow's Children Fund, 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ 07601 in Samantha's name.
