Obituary of Antonina "Ninetta" Carnemolla

Antonina "Ninetta" Carnemolla, 87, of Woodland Park, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2016. Ninetta was born in Marina di Ragusa, Sicily, Italy on October 25, 1928 to the late Joseph and Nellie Carnemolla. Before retiring, she worked as a seamstress for the ILGWU in Paterson for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking for her family. She was the beloved wife of William Carnemolla; the adored mother of Tina Gatti and her late husband Joseph and Wanda Rosella and her husband Franco; the cherished grandmother of Christian Gatti and his wife Randi, Joseph Gatti and his wife Natalie, and Marco, Eric and Franco Rosella; and the great grandmother of Adriana, Gia, Santino and Zoey. Ninetta is also survived by her sister Giovanna Menucci and many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her brother John Carnemolla. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
