Obituary of Lena Gallo

Lena Gallo (nee Villani), 92, formerly of Clifton, passed away on September 27, 2016. Lena was born in Paterson on January 27, 1924 to the late Matteo and Maria Villani. Lena was the beloved wife of the late Aldo Gallo (1983); the adored mother of Victor Gallo and his wife Elaine and Matthew Gallo; and the cherished grandmother of Anthony and Michael Gallo. Lena was the dear sister of Carol Traino and her husband John and was predeceased by Louis and Frank Villani and Rae Rello. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:00am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
