Obituary of Vera Joganow

Vera Joganow, of Woodland Park, age 90, passed peacefully at Morristown Medical Center, on June 17, 2013. Vera was predeceased by her husband, Ivan. She is survived by her son, Dr. Vikor Joganow, daughter Mrs. Theresa Forbes, grandchildren Frank Robert, Viktor, and Dana and great grandson, Bobby. Vera was born in the Ukraine in 1922. She and her husband fled the Soviet Union during WWII, survived the Cossack Repatriation at Lienz, Austria and lived in St. Michael's Displaced Person's Camp from 1945-1951 in Villach, Austria. The family emigrated to the US and settled in Paterson, living there until 1962, when they moved to West Paterson. Vera was a parishioner at St. Michael's R.O. Church in Paterson. All services are private by the request of the family.
