Obituary of Patricia June Cercone

Patricia June Cercone (nee DeBoer), 73, of Woodland Park, passed away on October 13, 2016 surrounded by family. Patricia was born in Paterson on June 5, 1943 to the late Barney and Ruth DeBoer. In addition to her role as a loving and devoted homemaker, Patricia was a talented hair stylist. She was also an active parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church. Patricia was the beloved wife of John Cercone for 51 years; the adored mother of Alessandro Cercone and his wife Andrea, Marco Cercone and his wife Diane, Teresa Cercone, Christina Rainey and her husband Ted, and Danny Cercone and his wife Maianh Nguyen; and the cherished grandmother of Alessandra and Jack Rainey, Giovanni Cercone and the late Angelia Cercone. She was the dear sister of Richard DeBoer and his wife Mary Ann and she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am.
