Obituary of Peter "Cooky" Fazio

Peter "Cooky" Fazio, 85, of Wayne, passed away on October 17, 2016. Peter was born on May 16, 1931 to the late Natale and Gussie (Bivona) Fazio. Before retiring, Cooky was a member of the Local Union #1 in NYC where he worked as a stage hand for many theatre and television companies. Cooky was the beloved husband of Maryann (Baldo) Fazio; the treasured father of Peter Fazio, Jr. and his wife Carolann, Lisa Nocelli and her husband Anthony, and Christopher Fazio; and the cherished grandfather of Paule, Daniel, Tommy, Samantha and Jesse Fazio and Anthony and Paula Nocelli. He is also survived by his sister Angela Basileo and her children Margaret and Daniel. Peter was predeceased by his daughter Paule Fazio in 1990. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9-10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow visitation at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home.
