Obituary of Robert Scott

Robert Scott, 64, of Wayne, passed away on November 2, 2016. Robert was born in Paterson, NJ on July 2, 1952. Robert earned his Master's Degree from Montclair State University and worked at the Passaic County Board of Social Services. More recently, he worked passionately as a clinician and educator for the field of mental and addictive illness for over 15 years at Holy Name Hospital and Seton Hall University. Robert was the cherished son of Anna (Reid) Hamill and the late Henry J. Scott. He was the treasured father of John Henry Scott and Cara Scott and is also survived by their mother Carmela Scott; the cherished brother of Susan Pirelli, Kathy Carfagna, Patricia DiSanto and her husband Vincent and the late James Scott (2001); the dear uncle of 5nieces and 4 nephews and their families. He is also survived by his beloved companion Pam Gallagher. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.
