Obituary of Joseph Jude Constantino
Joseph Constantino, 94, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Paterson, passed away November 15, 2016. He was born in Paterson on July 26, 1922 to the late Frank and Rose (Bufano) Constantino. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during WWII. Later, Joseph worked for many years as the chief custodian of the Paterson Public Schools. He was also parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Paterson, a member of the American Legion Post #0423, and a former member of Cesare Batista in Paterson.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Antoinette (2011). He was the treasured father of Joseph Constantino and his wife Patricia and Rose Varetoni and her husband Robert. He was the cherished grandfather of Kimberly Constantino, Jacquelyn Zilz and her husband Arthur, and Danielle and Robert Varetoni and the great grandfather of Jacquelyn and Emily Greenberg. He is also survived by his brother Charles Constantino as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Peter and Frank.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
