Obituary of John A Dell'Aquila

John A. Dell'Aquila, 76, of Stockholm, passed away on November 14, 2016. John was born in Hoboken, NJ on October 30, 1940 to the late Ferdinando and Rosaria Dell'Aquila. Before retiring, John worked as a butcher and meat manager for Pathmark Supermarkets. John was a member of the NRA and the senior member of the Majestic Whitetail Rod and Gun Club. John was the beloved husband of Phyllis (Kuren) Dell'Aquila; the treasured father of Fred Dell'Aquila and his wife Karen and Phylissa Meehan and her husband Casey; and the cherished grandfather of Johnny and Freddy Dell'Aquila and Mason Meehan. He was the dear brother of Steve and Fred "Junior" and Maryann Lopardo and the late Tony. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. Cremation will be private by the request of the family. John's family asks that you send cards filled with personal memories and favorite stories. John's favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Hospital.
