Obituary of Silverio Carioti

Silverio Anthony Carioti "Sil", 78, of Delray Beach and Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Ringwood, NJ passed away on December 9, 2016. Sil was born in West Paterson, NJ on June 19, 1938 to the late Anthony and Vittoria (Arena) Carioti. Silverio was a graduate of the Passaic Valley High School Class of 1956. Later, he proudly served in the United State Navy Reserve Flight and Aviation Unit. Silverio had a love of cars and enjoyed a long career in the automobile industry. He owned a luxury automobile leasing business and retired as a manager for various automobile dealerships. Silverio was the adored husband of the late Patricia (Padalino) Carioti (1995) and the cherished father of Michael, Reina and Elissa Carioti. He is also survived by his dear companion Doris Meyer, sisters in law Lee Carioti, Linda Zisa, and Susan Padalino and was the beloved uncle of John, Joey, Claudia, Ellen, Marisa and John Zisa. He was predeceased by his brother Andrew Carioti and his sister Carmela Codispoti. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
