Obituary of Jimmie G Vetsas

Jimmie G. Vetsas, 62, of Woodland Park, passed away on December 19, 2016. He was born in Jersey City, NJ on June 28, 1954. Jimmie was working as a manager and his family’s restaurant, Arena Diner, in Hackensack, NJ. He was the cherished son of Gus Vetsas and the late Ethel (Efstathiou); the beloved husband of Barbara (Mott); the adored father of Louis Vetsas and his wife Debra, Garabed Vetsas and his significant other Susan, and Jimmie J. Vetsas; and the treasured grandfather of Nicholas, Natalie, Emily and Joshua Vetsas. He was the dear brother of Chris and Philip Vetsas and is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his baby doggies Katie and Lizzie. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will begin on Thursday at 10:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home.
