Obituary of Petar Vucicevic

Petar Vucicevic, of Monticello, NY, formerly of Paterson, passed away on August 30, 2012. Petar was born in Yugoslavia (now Serbia) to the late Radisav and Ljubinka (Tanasjevic) Vucicevic. Petar was a mason and owned Brookview Cottages in Monticello, NY. He was a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church in Paterson and also had a passion for hunting, country mountain life and especially soccer. He was the beloved husband of Vera (nee Scremcevic) for over 51 years. He was the adored father of Ruza Ilich and her husband Peter and Dusko Vucicevic and his wife Olivera and the treasured grandfather of Marica and Marko Ilich and Stephanie and Stephen Vucicevic. Petar is also survived by much family in Serbia. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church, 119 Carlisle Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
