Obituary of Violet Striano

Violet Striano (nee Bsales), 78, of Woodland Park, passed away at her home on December 24, 2016. Violet was born on October 27, 1938 in Paterson, NJ to the late George and Maxine Bsales. Violet was the beloved wife of Henry Striano for 56 years before his passing in 2014. She was the cherished mother of Henry G. Striano, Wayne G. Striano, and LeeAnn Striano Abel and the treasured grandmother of Dakota, K.C., and Montana Abel and Jonathan and Cheyenne Striano. She was predeceased by her 5 siblings; Mary, Agnes, Alex, Basil and Albi. Violet was employed by Preakness Hill Country Club in Wayne for 30 years and retired at the age of 76. She will be greatly missed by all and will always shine the brightest on her favorite time of the year, Christmas Eve. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
