Obituary of Mary Barreto

Mary Barreto (nee Priestly), 76, of Paterson, passed away on February 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. Mary was born on January 2, 1941 to the late William and Ida (LaConte) Priestly. Mary was the beloved mother of John Christen and his wife Maria and Darlene Gonzalez and her husband Carlos; the treasured grandmother of Dana, Carlos, Marie, Gloria, Emanuel, Hannah and Asia and the great grandmother of Alyssa and Kali. She was predeceased by her husband Ines Barreto and by many siblings and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 11:30am at St. Gerard Church, 501 Broadway, Paterson. Guests may arrive at he funeral home at 10:30am.
