Obituary of Donna Colao

Donna Colao, 66, of Prospect Park, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 31, 1950 to the late Walter and Catherine (Blaw) Gokey. Most recently, Donna worked as a bus aid with the Station Wagon Bus Service in Totowa, NJ. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Colao; the treasured mother of James Colao and his wife Lisa, Louis Colao, Catherine Hines, Michael Colao, Melissa Colao, and the late Kenny Colao; the cherished grandmother of 15 and the great grandmother of 4. She was the dear sister of Betty Jackson, Walter Gokey and George Gokey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A service will be held during visitation at 7pm. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
