Obituary of George Hatab

George Hatab, 96, of Clifton, passed away on March 20, 2017. George was born in Paterson on August 10, 1920 to the late Salim and Mounira (Azaar) Hatab. He was the beloved husband of the late Tamam (Assale) Hatab; the cherished father of Salim Hatab and his wife Robin, Salwa Nayfeh and her husband Samir, Nabil Hatab and his wife Nawal, Dalal Hammam and her husband Mike and the late Mouna Khoury and her husband Wagih; the adored grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sisters Leona Elhin and Agnes Nahat and is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews. George was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Visitation will be offered on Thursday from 6-9pm at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Rd., Little Falls, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Friday at 10:30am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
