Obituary of Jackson Jesse Fornes

Jackson Jesse Fornes, 60, of Paterson, passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2017. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on July 1, 1956 the cherished son of Aurora Quinones and the late Luis Belen Fornes. Most recently, Jackson worked as a driver for Prestige Motors. He was the beloved husband of Senovia (Cruz) Fornes for over 42 years; the adored father of Jessica Fornes and her husband Omar Sheika and Jesse Fornes and his wife Damaris Hernandez; and the treasured grandfather of Jayden, Alyssa and Mackenzie Fornes. Jackson was the dear brother of Osvaldo "Papo" Fornes, Doris Quinones, Damaris Cortes and Raquel Cortes and is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his best friend Jose "TT" Toledo. Jackson will also be dearly missed by his doggies, Benjamin, Biggie and Mocha. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will be offered on Saturday at 9:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 8:30am.
