Obituary of Lucia Silvestri

Lucia Silvestri (nee Cercone), 96, of Woodland Park, passed away on April 8, 2017. She was born in Rumford, Maine on August 23, 1920 and was raised in Pacentro, Italy before coming to the United States and settling in Paterson. She was a seamstress in the ILGU and a member of the Pacentro Society. Lucy loved to cook, to sew and to watch old movies. She was the beloved wife of the Alberto Silvestri; the loving mother of Mario Silvestri of Haledon and Jerry Silvestri and his wife Fran of Woodland Park and the dear grandmother of Tina and Todd Silvestri. She was predeceased by her sisters Eva, Stella and Flavia and by her brother Joseph. Lucy is also survived by her devoted caretakers Gloria and Anka.
