Obituary of Hermelinda Arevalo

Hermelinda Arevalo, of Paterson, passed away at home on May 15, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 8, 1933 in Pucallpa, Peru to the late Arnulfo Arevalo and Hermelinda Tuesta de Arevalo and was a loving homemaker for her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dario Arana; the cherished mother of Jose Dario Arana and his wife Hedda, Cesar Augusto Arana, Luis Alberto Arana and Maria del Carmen Ramos and her husband Ramon Ramos; the treasured grandmother of Christtiann Arana, Jesenia Ramos, Alexis Ramos, Michelle Arana and Cesar Arana and the great grandmother of Alessandra Abigail Arana, Iker Sebastian Arana, Carly Ariana Arana and Michael Angelo Ramos. She was one of 19 siblings and is survived by Augusta Arevalo and many nieces and nephews.

Hermelinda Arévalo de Paterson, falleció en su casa el 15 mayo de 2017 rodeada por su familia. Ella nació el 8 de octubre de 1933 en Pucallpa, Perú al difunto Arnulfo Arévalo y Hermelinda Tuesta de Arévalo y fue una adorada ama de casa.

Ella era la esposa del difunto Dario Arana; amada madre de Jose Dario Arana y su esposa Hedda, César Augusto Arana, Luis Alberto Arana y Maria Ramos y su esposo Ramón Ramos; querida abuela de Christtiann Arana, Jesenia Ramos, Alexis Ramos, Michelle Arana, y César Arana; y adorada bisabuela de Alessandra Abigail Arana, Iker Sebastian Arana, y Michael Angelo Ramos. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held during visitation. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
