Obituary of Richard Atkinson

Richard Atkinson, 68, of Scraton, PA, passed away at home on May 30, 2017. Rich was born in Newark on April 7, 1949 to the late Richard and Maria (Guitteria) Atkinson. Before his recent retirement, Rich worked as a construction foreman at Continental Properties in NJ.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Diemiean) and the cherished father of Justina Atkinson and her fiance Gian Luciano. Rich is also survived by his sisters Rosie Della'Paoli, Marie Pishley and Susan Atkinson as well as many nieces and nephews.

All services were private by the request of the family. Memorial donations for Richard may be sent to the Atkinson family.
