Obituary of Elaine Nathanson

Elaine Nathanson, (nee Zielinski), of Woodland Park, passed away at home on June 13, 2017. Elaine was born in Newark on July 20, 1941 to the late Adam and Sophie Zielinski. Elaine was an active member of the 375 Rifle Camp Road community where she quickly became friends with all of her neighbors.

She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Nathanson; the cherished mother of Daniel Nathanson; David Nathanson and his wife Karen; the treasured grandmother of Matthew, Alyssa, Michael, Jill, Ava, and Olivia. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 10:00am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
