Obituary of Marian Nakashian

Marian Nakashian, (nee Nakash), 91, of Woodland Park, passed away on July 28, 2017. Marian was born in Paterson on May 15, 1926 to the late Charles and Aros Nakash. Before retiring, Marian worked as a secretary at Montclair State University for many years. She was also a long time member of the Second Reformed Church in Little Falls. Marian was the beloved wife of Thomas Nakashian; the adored mother of Thomas Charles Nakashian and Susan Nakashian; the cherished grandmother of Michael Nakashian, Dana Laux and her husband Eric and Marisa Davis and her husband Jesse, and the great grandmother of Mackenzie and Keira Laux. She is also survived by her brother Robert Nakash, his wife Joan, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Nakash. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6m at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be offered on Monday at 11am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.
