Obituary of Ruth Frasco

Ruth Frasco, (nee Garafano), 89, of Woodland Park, passed away on August 5, 2017. Ruth was born in Paterson on May 20, 1928 to the late Patrick and Lillian Garafano. Before retiring, Ruth worked as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. She was also a former parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late John R. Frasco; the adored mother of Kevin Frasco and his wife Rosanna and John J. Frasco; and the cherished grandmother of Craig, Gary and Erica Frasco. She was predeceased by her sister Marie DiCiano and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will begin on Thursday at 9:30am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
