Obituary of Theresa Peluse
Theresa Peluse, (nee Servidio), 82, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Woodland Park and Venice, FL, passed away on August 10, 2017. Theresa was born in Paterson on January 10, 1935 to the late Genarro and Catherine Servidio. Theresa worked as a bookkeeper at Lazzara Bakery in Paterson for many years before retiring.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Peluse and the adored mother of Sharon Steed and her fiancé Rich Tolerico. She is also survived by her brother Albert Servidio and his wife Johanna as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Servidio and her sister Eleanor Derobbio.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson, NJ. Guests may meet at Santangelo Funeral Home at 8:30am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the ASPCA.
