Obituary of George Andalft

George Andalft, 80, of Totowa, passed away on August 13, 2017. He was born in Paterson on December 15, 1936 to the late Anthony and Mary Andalft. He was the owner and operator of A&A Electrical Contractors in Totowa. He was a devoted parishioner of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Little Falls, an active member of the Do Good House, a member of Passaic County Electrical Association, and a giant Giants fan. He was the beloved husband of the late Aurora Grace Andalft (2009); the cherished father of Dawn Andalft-Newman and her husband Arthur and Michele Iuele and her husband Eric; and the adored grandfather of Richie, Chris, Sam, Tessa, Shayna, Michael, Grace, Will and Ava Newman and Isabel and Joey Iuele. He was the dear brother of Nicholas Andalft and his wife Mary Joyce and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Rosemarie Zamloot, Elizabeth Moussab, and Marlene Bostany. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be Friday at 10:30am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 237 Longhill Rd., Little Falls, NJ. Guests may visit at church before the Mass at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
