Obituary of Derrick Joseph Anderson

Derrick Joseph Anderson, 35 of Weymouth, MA formerly of Lake Hopatcong, entered into eternal life on September 9th.  Born August 24, 1982 in Pequannock, he lived in Lake Hopatcong, Rutherford and Cape Coral, FL before recently moving to Weymouth.  He was an electrician by trade working for Skilled Trade Services of Weymouth.  Derrick led an active, adventurous lifestyle.  He loved sports, especially snowboarding, skateboarding, riding Quads, he had no fear.  He lived life to the fullest, was kind-hearted, he loved his family and friends very much and was an animal lover .  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Ann Anderson & Eleanor & Anthony Rago, & his godmother, Florence Anderson among many other family and friends.
  
Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Vanessa (nee: Pelli) & their son, Nico Joseph; his parents, Derrick James & Jo-Sandra Anderson (nee: Rago), his sisters Jo-Sandra Bailey (Matthew), Dominique Gentile (Gianluca), his nephews and niece; Mavrk Joseph Bailey, Patrick Joseph & Declan Alfred Skinner, Valentina Gentile, his in laws; Joseph & Barbara Pelli, his sister-in-law; Janeen Skinner (Alfred), & brother-in-law; Vincent Pelli, and his godfather, Joseph Anderson.  He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and his dog Sire.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ.  Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, Saddle Brook.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.
