Obituary of Jennie C Biagi

Jennie C. Biagi, (nee Daleo), of Paterson, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2013. Jennie was born in Lodi to the late Salvatore and Lauretta (nee Millitello) Daleo. Jennie was a member of the ILGWU Local #158 and worked various positions in a coat factory for many years before retiring in 1991. She was also a member of the Rosary Society at St. Anthony's Church in Paterson and of the Deborah Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Jennie was the beloved wife of the late Albert Biagi. She was the cherished mother of Loretta "Dee" Pico, Melody Biagi, and the late Amelia Biagi D'Ovidio. She was the adored grandmother of Charles D'Ovidio and his wife Amy, Krista D'Ovidio, Natalie Pico and Frankie Pico and the great grandmother of Isabella D'Ovidio, Eddie and Ryan Casiano, and Julian Ndreu. She was the dear sister of Loretta Gatto and was predeceased by Rose Pizzimenti, Josephine Lacatana, Mary Contrano, Anna Royce, and John Daleo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
