Obituary of Anthony Giordano

Anthony Giordano, 68, of Woodland Park, passed away on September 26, 2017. Anthony was born on April 5, 1949 in Naples, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Mari) Giordano. Before retiring, Anthony worked for many years in the textile industry. He was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson and was also a member of the Knights of Colombus Council #240 in Woodland Park.

He was the beloved husband of Maria (Finamore) Giordano; the cherished father of Josephine Brege and her husband Eric, Sonia Del Mastro and her husband Christopher, and Diana Hayes and her husband Kevin; and the adored grandfather of Sophia, Ryan, Emma, Nathaniel and Livia. He was the dear brother of Ciro Giordano, Filomena Trofa, Anna Maria Bruno and her husband Nick and the late Pasquale and Nicola Giordano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Entombment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson, NJ.
