Obituary of Armando A Roach

Armando A. Roach, 19, of Paterson, passed away on October 1, 2017. He was born in Newark on February 28, 1998 to Winston and Jennifer (Ramirez) Roach. Armando graduated from the East Side High School Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program. During his time at East Side, he was a member of the ROTC and the Vice President of the student government. Armando was currently working as a server and host at TGI Fridays in Clifton, NJ and was also attending Fairleigh Dickenson University. In addition, he was a member of the NJCDC where he also previously worked. Armando was the cherished son of Winston and Jennifer Roach and the adored brother of Nicola Roach, Phyona Brown, Christina Roach, Bruce Roach and Joseph Chalas. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and by his Godson, Cameron Jamar Jones. Armando will be sorely missed by his large and loving family and will always be fondly remembered by his teachers and mentors who will be honoring him during his service. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9-11am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral service will follow visitation at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10W Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532.
