Dad, there was so much I should have said and done over the years, but my stubbornness got in the way. I am full of guilt and truly hope you heard me when I spoke to you in the hospital. I will forever live with this guilt until I see a sign of forgiveness; until then my heart will ache knowing I wasted these last years you had on piddly issues. May you forever rest in peace.
