Obituary of Warren Harding Harris

Warren H. Harris, 96, of Wilmington, NC died November 18, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center.

He was born in Paterson, NJ, on July 23, 1921, the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Harris in 2006 as well as two brothers, Willard and Walter Harris.

Warren was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946. His decorations include a victory ribbon and the meritorious service unit wreath. Mr. Harris retired as a detective with the Paterson Police Department.

Survivers include his daughter, Carol Cooper and husband Alvin; granddaughter, Pamela Losurdo and husband Scott; grandson, Scott Malatesta and wife Helene; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be offered 10:15 am Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson, NJ. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
