Obituary of Jean Pomante

Jean Pomante, (nee Alfano), 95, of Toms River, passed away on December 3, 2017. She was born in Paterson on February 22, 1922 to the late Giacomo and Giusepinna Alfano. Jean was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Pomante (1998). She was the cherished mother of the late William Thompson and his wife Irma. She was the adored grandmother of Mark Thompson and his wife Jennifer and Michele Walsh and her husband Brian and great grandmother of Jake Thompson and Story and Sebastian Walsh. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9-11am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will begin immediately following visitation at 11:00am.
