Obituary of Lucy Pirone

Lucy Pirone, (nee Giordano), of Woodland Park, passed away on July 6, 2013. Lucy was born in Paterson to the late Charles and Jenny (nee Pastena) Giordano. Lucy was a loving homemaker to her husband and children and was also a member of the of the Our Lady of Pompeii Seniors, Woodland Park Seniors and Knights of Columbus Seniors in Woodland Park. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Jimmy Pirone. She was the cherished mother of Diane D'Alessandro and her husband Marc, Jean Pirone and Robert Githens and Cindy Barckett. She was the adored grandmother of Tiffany Hiltz and her husband John and Cassandra Barckett and great grandmother of Brandon and Alexandra Hiltz. She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9-11am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday at 11:30am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 70 Murray Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at George Washington Cemetery in Paramus.
