Obituary of Ernestina Valle

Ernestina Valle (nee Vilchez), 97, of Woodland Park, passed away on December 30, 2017. She was born in Peru on November 7, 1920 to the late Constantino and Natalia (Gonzalez) Vilchez in Peru, Ernestina worked at Pan American Fish Company where she met the man she later married, Miguel Valle. She remained his beloved wife for 69 years. Ernestina was a loving homemaker for her family and a caretaker to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member at Calvary Temple International in Wayne, NJ, where she attended services until her health deteriorated, however, she always remained a devout follower of the Christian faith.

She was the adored mother of Jorge Andrade and his wife Carmen, Martha De Jesus, and Elena Fernandez and her husband Jose; the cherished grandmother of Erika, Janina, Jessica, Michael, Joanne, Kimberly, Sabrina, Alex, Gary and Kenny and the great grandmother of Luzzia, Samantha, Valentina, Alejandro, Misael, Aaron, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Caleb, Liam, Ethan and Isaac. She was the dear sister of Rosario, Humberto, Saturnino, Abilio, Modesta, Dionisia, Julio, Marina and Maria Vilchez and is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews in the US, as well as in Peru. 

Visitation will be offered on Tuesday, January 2nd, from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 10am at Santangelo Funeral Home. Guests may arrive at 9am. Burial will follow the funeral service at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa.

Ernestina Valle (Vilchez), 97, de Woodland Park, falleció el 30 de Diciembre de 2017.  Nació en Perú el 7 de Noviembre de 1020. Fué hija de Constantino y Natalia (Gonzalez) Vilchez.  En Perú, Ernestina trabajó en Pan American Fish Company donde conoció a Miguel Valle, con quien después  se casó.  Se mantuvo como una amorosa esposa por 69 años.  Ernestina fué una dedicada y amorosa ama de casa para su familia y cuidó de sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Fué miembro de Calvary Temple International en Wayne, NJ, donde asistía a los servicios hasta que su salud se deterioró, sin embargo, ella siempre se mantuvo como una devota seguidora de la fé cristiana.

De Erika, Janina, Jessica, Michael, Joanne, Kimberly, Sabrina, Alex, Gary y Kenny y la bisabuela de Luzzia, Samantha, Valentina, Alejandro, Misael, Aaron, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Caleb, Liam, Ethan e Isaac.  Fué  la querida hermana de Rosario, Humberto, Saturnino, Abilio, Modesta, Dionisia, Julio, Marina y Maria Vilchez y también la sobreviven muchos primos, primas, sobrinas y sobrinos en Estados Unidos, así como en Perú.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el Martes, 2 de Enero, de 5 a 9pm en Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ.  El servicio funeral será el Miêrcoles, 3 de Enero a las 10 am en Santangelo Funeral Home.  Los que deseen pueden llegar a las 9am.  El entierro será inmediatamente después del servicio funeral en Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
