Obituary of Barbara Ulicni

Barbara Ulicni, (nee Sefcik), 87, of Woodland Park, passed away on January 9, 2018. She was born in Passaic on May 3, 1930 to the late John and Anna Sefcik. Barbara was the beloved wife of John Ulicni for over 59 years. She was the cherished mother of Joseph Ulicni and his wife Robyn, Susan Lontine and her husband Dominick, Steven Ulicni and his wife Theresa, Carol Knaup and her husband Gary and Nancy Margulis and her husband Stu. She was the adored grandmother of Derek, Craig, Corey, Nick, Alyssa, Jacob, Rachel, Luke, Katie, Ben and Brayden and one expectant great-grandson. She was the dear sister of Dolores Toomey and was predeceased by her brother Joseph Sefcik and by her sisters Marion Koterba, Josephine Novick, Ann Costa, Florence Orlovsky and Evelyn Plafta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara loved watching football, drinking wine and spending time at the casino but there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family. Although she will be missed by all, she loved to say "When I'm gone, you'll have plenty of stories". Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Bonaventure Church.
