Obituary of Rosetta Mascolo

Rosetta Mascolo, (nee Siracusa), 77, of Butler, formerly of Haledon and Paterson, passed away on January 29, 2018. She was born in Sicily, Italy on February 18, 1940 to the late Gerlando and Giuseppa (Patti) Siracusa. Before retiring, Rosetta worked as a sewing machine operator for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Francesco in 2010. She was the adored mother of Giuseppe Mascolo and his wife Donna and Fran Findura and her husband Robert; she was the cherished grandmother of Amanda, Frankie, Lucas and Antonio. She was the dear sister of Assunta Bruno, Joseph Siracusa, John Siracusa, Vincent Siracusa, Isabella Caruana and Pasquale Siracusa and the late Anthony Siracusa and Francesca Todaro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 10am at St. Gerard Majella Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
