Obituary of Salvatore Caporarello

Salvatore Caporarello, 87, of Paterson, passed away on February 8, 2018. He was born on March 30, 1930 in Gioiosa Marea, Sicily, Italy to the late Nicola and Maria Rosa Caporarello. Salvatore loved gardening, making wine and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He was the beloved husband of Rosaria (Merlo) Caporarello for 54 years; the adored father of Maria Caporarello and Giannina Capria and the cherished grandfather of Nicole and Natalie Capria. He was the dear brother of Antonina Carianni, Santa Pirrone and Mariella Baiardo and was predeceased by his brothers Nicola and Tindaro Caporarello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-7pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
