Obituary of Charles A Mone

Charles A. Mone, 81, of Woodland Park, passed away at home surrounded by his family July 15, 2013. He was born in Paterson to the late Patrick and Anna Mone. Charles was a Constable in Passaic County for many years and was more recently the voting machine mechanic for the Superintendent of Elections for the County of Passaic in Paterson. He was also a member of the Batista Club in Paterson. Charles was the beloved husband of Nessie (nee Findlay). He was the adored father of Donna Umstead and her husband Thomas and Jackie Yasso and her husband Keith and cherished grandfather of Victoria, Brandon and Deanna Umstead, Kaitlin Chesley, and Megan and Nicholas Yasso. He is the dear brother of Marie Barnhart and the late Patrick Mone and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:15am. Cremation will be private by the request of the family.
