Obituary of Benjamin Gonzalez

Benjamin Gonzalez, 63, of Paterson, passed away on February 24, 2018. He was born in Lares Puerto Rico on September 8, 1954 to the late Ernesto and Felicita Gonzalez. Before retiring, Benjamin worked as the night manager at The Hearth restaurant in Clifton for over 30 years. He was the beloved husband of Teresa Santiago; the cherished father of Graciela Gonzalez and her husband Pascual Muniz and Alberto and Adrian Gonzalez; and the adored grandfather of Madisyn and Mateo Muniz, Savannah, Brianna, Angelice, Miguelangel, Adrian Maky'I, and Kayden Gonzalez. He is also survived by his brothers Hector and Eduardo Gonzalez as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-9pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 9am at St. Mary's RC Church, 410 Union Ave., Paterson. Burial will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton.
